Laughton Greenwood Tree Planting

Reforestation was delighted to support a local woodland project at Laughton Greenwood through the donation of 100 native saplings, including alder, hornbeam and beech.

The trees were planted as part of a wider community effort that saw the saplings added to the woodland. Over time, these young trees will help create a beautiful mixed deciduous grove, supporting biodiversity and providing valuable habitat for birds, butterflies and other wildlife.

Laughton Greenwood is a much-loved local green space, managed with care for both nature and the community. The new planting will help strengthen the woodland for future generations, adding variety, resilience and seasonal beauty as the trees establish and mature.

The team at Laughton Greenwood shared their thanks following the planting:

“Those new trees will add to the biodiversity of the wood and will grow in the future to be a beautiful grove of mixed deciduous trees, full of birds and butterflies. Well done!”

We’re proud to have played a small part in this local reforestation project and look forward to seeing the saplings grow into a thriving woodland habitat in the years ahead.
